  1. INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This Notice applies to the Processing of Personal Data, as a Data Controller, by EnergyCloud Ireland (\u201cEnergyCloud<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cthe Company<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cwe<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cus<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cour<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n

    EnergyCloud is a not-for-profit charitable organization providing a renewable energy service that delivers free hot water to eligible households during periods of surplus wind energy. Through smart immersion controllers, smart heat pumps, storage heaters, and batteries, EnergyCloud helps homes access clean energy while supporting Ireland\u2019s renewable energy transition in partnership with utilities and housing providers.<\/p>\n

    During the course of our activities, EnergyCloud will Process your Personal Data (which may be held on paper, electronically, or otherwise) and we recognise the need to treat it in an appropriate and lawful manner, in accordance with applicable data protection laws (\u201cData Protection Legislation<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n

    This Notice explains what Personal Data is collected, the Purposes for which it is used, the third parties to whom it may be disclosed and how individuals can exercise their rights in relation to their Personal Data.<\/p>\n

    This Notice sets out how EnergyCloud Processes (which includes collection and disposal) Personal Data relating to residents who benefit from our services (\u201cResidents<\/strong>\u201d), and individuals associated with our partner organisations, including representatives, employees, agents, and other personnel of Approved Housing Bodies, Local Authorities, sponsors, funding organisations, and service delivery partners, as well as public office holders who engage with EnergyCloud in an official capacity (\u201cProject Partners<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n

    In addition, the Notice sets out how EnergyCloud Processes Personal Data in relation to website visitors, contractors\/supplier employees, the EnergyCloud Foundation, and other individuals who may provide us with Personal Data, such as when submitting a CV or a query or attending an event (\u201cyou<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cyour<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n

      2.1\u00a0 \u201dPersonal Data\u201d means recorded information we hold about you from which you can be identified. It may include contact details, other personal information, photographs, expressions of opinion about you or indications as to our intentions about you.<\/p>\n

      2.4 \u201cData Controller\u201d is the entity that decides the means and Purposes of Processing of your Personal Data. EnergyCloud Ireland is a Data Controller for the purposes of this Notice.<\/p>\n
