Calling all Manufacturers and Technology Providers – ‘EnergyCloud Ready’ Pilot Opportunities

EnergyCloud uses surplus renewable energy, that would otherwise be wasted, to help homes that are in energy poverty. Our first pilot is with a smart immersion controller that provides free tanks of water to residents when there is excess renewable wind energy.

We are now seeking to expand the number of technology providers that we are working with. We are calling on manufacturers and technology providers including (but not limited to) smart immersion controllers, heat pumps, solar, battery and smart storage heaters to contact us to discuss pilot projects that we would like to initiate throughout 2025.

The critical aspect to everything that we do is that all devices need to provide Demand Flexibility. In simple terms they should be controllable remotely, what we call ‘EnergyCloud Ready’.

For all of our pilots we will specify with the manufacturer / technology provider:

• How many units we might use for the pilot;
• How long the pilot would need to run for to show value; and
• What success would look like.

And as importantly, what a scaled rollout might look like, in other words, the commercial objectives/requirements for you as a manufacturer / technology provider so that we can build a mutually beneficial long term relationship together.
