Our Mission
Our mission is to create solutions that divert surplus renewable energy, which would otherwise be wasted, to homes in England, with a primary focus on those in fuel poverty.

- In 2024, approximately 8,103 GWh of surplus wind energy was curtailed across England, Scotland and Wales, with a retail value of over £2 billion.
EnergyCloud England is a not-for-profit social enterprise, limited by guarantee and led by a volunteer board. We are committed to providing sustainable, zero-carbon solutions that redirect surplus renewable electricity into homes impacted by fuel poverty, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and improving health, wellbeing and quality of life.

According to the Annual Fuel Poverty Statistics, fuel poverty affects an estimated 3.17 million households across England.
At the same time, a staggering volume of renewable wind energy continues to be wasted. In 2024, across England, Scotland and Wales, approximately 8,103 GWh of surplus wind energy, with a retail value of over £2 billion. This represents an enormous missed opportunity to support vulnerable households.
EnergyCloud England is committed to providing sustainable, zero-carbon solutions that redirect surplus renewable electricity into homes impacted by fuel poverty. We aim to reduce dependency on fossil fuels while simultaneously improving health outcomes, financial wellbeing, and overall quality of life for households across England.
