About Us

We believe that there is an opportunity to share the solutions we develop with an international community to engage global action.

Our Mission

about-us

Our mission is to end energy poverty by creating solutions to divert surplus renewable energy, which would otherwise be wasted to homes in England, with a primary focus on those in fuel poverty.

In 2023, 13% of households in England were classified as fuel poor, with a fuel poverty gap of £1.32 billion. The average fuel-poor household required a reduction of £417 in energy bills to move out of fuel poverty. These numbers represent real people facing daily struggles and often choosing between heating their homes and affording other essentials.

EnergyCloud England exists to change that. By using surplus wind and solar energy that would otherwise be curtailed, we can deliver clean, free energy directly into homes, helping to reduce fuel bills and carbon emissions.
EnergyCloud England is a not-for-profit social enterprise, limited by guarantee.

EnergyCloud England supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – specifically SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
