Smart Storage Heating Goes Free: EnergyCloud, Clúid and Elnur Launch Fuel Poverty Initiative

EnergyCloud has partnered with Elnur and Clúid to launch an innovative pilot program using smart storage heaters, aiming to provide efficient home heating and support residents affected by fuel poverty. The initiative is the first time EnergyCloud will deliver both heat and hot water directly to its residents, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to integrating new technologies into its services.

“Adding new technologies is a key part of EnergyCloud’s strategy, and this pilot delivers on that promise. We are enormously grateful to Clúid for their support and to Elnur for donating the heaters, which demonstrates huge vision and social responsibility. Elnur welcomed the collaboration, highlighting the role of surplus renewable energy in supporting vulnerable households. “EnergyCloud has shown how surplus renewable energy can be transformed into meaningful support for households affected by fuel poverty,” said Elnur. “When we saw the impact, we immediately recognised an opportunity to extend it into home heating. Our ECOHHR PLUS high heat retention storage heater is designed to utilise surplus solar and renewable energy, alongside off-peak tariffs, making it a practical fit for this initiative. We were proud to donate heaters for Phase 1 of the pilot, helping ensure that renewable energy translates into real warmth for families who need it most.”
