EnergyCloud Northern Ireland welcomes the launch of the public consultation on the proposed Warm Healthy Homes Fund and supporting legislation.
EnergyCloud Northern Ireland welcomes the launch of the public consultation on the proposed Warm Healthy Homes Fund and supporting legislation.
This is an important opportunity to shape long-term solutions to fuel poverty, energy affordability and healthier homes across Northern Ireland.
We are particularly encouraged that the wider Warm Healthy Homes Strategy already recognises the role innovative initiatives like EnergyCloud NI can play in redirecting otherwise-curtailed renewable electricity to households experiencing fuel poverty.
As Northern Ireland continues its energy transition, collaboration between government, communities, housing providers and the energy sector will be essential to ensure clean energy delivers real social benefit.
We encourage stakeholders across the sector to engage with the consultation process.
The consultation forms part of the wider Warm Healthy Homes Strategy, which references the EnergyCloud NI pilot project with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
